feedback needed on the roses I'm using for an arbor

Hey folks! I'm in SW 18, southern california

I ended up getting Sombreuil and Gloire de Dijon split stems from RogueValleyRoses for free with the other roses I ordered. I also have an cl. Eden and cl. James Galway coming in January from DA.

I'm going to have an seat arbor set in a corner of my yard, and then I have a blank spot on a wall. Whole area gets full morning sun for most of the day. Nearby the arbor will be William Shakespeare 2000 and James Galway and lots of lavender.

I just put Sombreuil on one side of where the arbor will be and put Gloire de Dijon on the other side, thinking their pale colors would look nice with each other...? But Sombreuil is pretty thorny right...? am I getting myself into trouble?

Should I put cl. Eden on the arbor instead with one of the other roses...?

what would you guys do? Any rose I don't use for the arbor specifically could be in the corner behind the arbor or along the wall instead, so I'll end up using them all anyway.

Much thanks in advance,
