Product report I bought this sprayer, it came yesterday, and today I used it to apply dormant oil. I'm pretty pleased with it. It came mostly assembled, the rest was easy. The cart is substantial, it's easy to push around, the only problem is that it's back-heavy and tends to tip when empty. It reaches the top of my trees, that are all below 15', and it covers them really thoroughly, really fast. I only have a dozen trees, and some are still small, but the battery held out while I did the whole job. It does leave about a quart of liquid in the tank, but the drain is quite convenient, the tank is easy to clean out. Definitely beats the backpack. I'd recommend it for someone with a dozen or so trees that aren't too tall.

a Mantis sprayer I had years ago needed a new pump so I replaced it with a SHURflo Pump. Many sprayers use this brand as original equipment. I found one at Amazon that may fit your needs. UFO!!!! I graduated HS the same year Jodi. While I loved Rock, I eventually turned into a real disco boy. Grew up where they filmed Saturday Night Fever, Danced at Studio 54 (did way more than dance, but the kids are reading this post...LOL)I was also one of those New Wave nuts for a while, you know, green / blue pony tail, ala Duran Duran hair...scary, but damn those were some great times in NYC. Larissa, that Basuto is beautiful even if you don't think you're getting the color correct. And Wedding Dance is gorgeous, have you tried a Ludwigs Dazzler yet? The little H. Larissa I have has not grown any leaves yet but the bulb seems to have grown quite a bit in size, can't wait for the sunroom to warm a bit more at night, that's when the growth will start. Lar, the Papillio babies are holding their own, and I think we may have talked about an aphroditie? they are recovering nicely from the bulbfly surgery and seem to be enlarging. I find the aphrodite to be evergreen, the forced dormancy last fall 07, was not appreciated by the bulbs. They are also repeat bloomers for me, 3-4 stalks a year. Spring and summer from surprisingly small bulbs for the amount of bloom. Now, you're starting to sound like Jodi with her soil, back away from the Basuto... Gotta get me a Basuto, Black Pearl, or even a Red Lion. Can't believe I have no solid red here! Zombie is showing signs of a stalk, Piccolo, and Jungle Bells (thanks for the JB Mariava)are as well. Your assumptions are correct. The dilution rate is (setting)/gallon. So a setting of 2 ounces will put 2 ounces of your solution into every gallon sprayed. So for me for instance (a random example).. Say I had 7 plants that I want to receive 1 gallon each of fert. MG states a dilution of 1tbs/gal. So I add 7 tbs of MG to the container and fill it with water till it's at the 7 ounce mark. Set it to 1ounce. (I have tested my water pressure and know that 1 gallon is sprayed in 21 seconds)... So now if I water my plants for 21 seconds I know they are getting 1 gallon of water with 1tbs of MG (in the correct dilution)... This thing has been a lifesaver in time. Jay
