A friend of mine in Central FL bought one and made a few changes to it. Put larger wheels on it and added more hose. He has flat ground to work with and he likes his a lot.

Yep - purchased mine when it first came out from Rosemania. It's a bit of a production to use it for small jobs, but I wouldn't use anything else for regular spraying: often times with more than one 7-gal jug (I never fill one past 6 gal). I had a Solo backpack sprayer before this and it was horrible. The tank would leak all over your back. Plus, I have to walk through my roses and the backpack would rip off blooms and stems or worse - fell down with one once because I was so top-heavy and my yard is very hilly. Never again. The SpotShot hose and wand work great in close quarters. That wand and hose has taken some real abuse, too, and they just keep chugging along. I'm on my 3rd battery in this thing, though. The 12V-7AH battery is an industry standard for residential security systems. So, it's pretty easy to find cheap replacements. The sprayer may seem like a huge expense, but it's paid for itself many times over for me. It's what - about four years old? Never had any kind of sprayer to last that long. I think the Rosemania version has added a hose rack at the top of the crossbar on the handle, that may help a bit. Sometimes I wish the tires were pneumatic, too - but very few complaints, all-in-all.

I forgot to mention that in addition to using the SpotShot for the obvious - spraying the roses, we also use it for applying the Bayer soil drench and it works great. Just take the spray tip off so that you get a stream of water when the trigger is pressed. I count how long it takes to fill a quart, then go from rose to rose counting to approximate the quart. Sure beats mixing and pouring under each rose. Easier on the back - and much faster. Probably could also use it to apply the compost tea if it is strained first.

I've posted this recipe before. it really works great on any carpet, even old stains. Mix one bottle of hydrogen peroxide (about 99 cents), half again as much plain water (need not use hot H20), and a good squirt of Dawn dishwashing liquid. Stir and pour on stains, rub with a clean washcloth and blot as much of it as you can. This mixture cannot be stored, so discard the excess or make a smaller batch.
