Luanne, that's a Rosette Delizzy in the fall. Most of the time it's pretty much yellow with a thin edging of cerise, but in the fall it can look like the above. Am not sure if you're asking about the plant in the picture with RD or some other Linda's plant, but my plant is Ruellia, or Mexican Petunia. It is a late bloomer but keeps on going for several months.

I remember when I lived in an ashram in India, one of my tasks was to go to the dish room and work on the dishes. There were some new people from Italy, not much English. I worked very seriously, independently and hard, silently. Perfect. Finally an Italian seeing my predicament said kindly in his small English "es much felicidado ifa we help each other!" When they came, there was singing while we worked and the time passed very happily.
