Here is a treat for you. Some of you know Anne. For those of you who don't this will be a delightful suprise. Anne is a remarkable woman. I could write pages about her adventures and accomplishments. In her 80 plus years she has sailed and navigated a boat alone, built a beautiful home hands on with Max, ran a marathon at age 60 and started in her 70s to build a wonderful garden. The best gardens reflect the place they are situated in and Anne's certainly does. It is in the Pacific Northwest.Beyond a huge brilliant green meadow there are roses along wooded pathways, on split rail fences, climbing on an old log cabin and beautiful pergolas designed by Anne and built by Max. Anne's is a fabulous collection of ramblers some of them very rare. We visited there 2 years ago and saw amazing climbers between the showers.
Sorry I don't know how to post a link properly.
