Phyl, I bought a new one when I was there. Unfortunately I have CRS disease. It is a seedling of Souvenir de la Malmason and is supposed to be a little better. I like my Bolero alot too. Have been ordering there since I first started with roses! I don't know where to start for you. My Golden Unicorn has been a pleasant bloomer. Perle d' Or, a favorite. Someone else will have to join in.

The best by far this year was Coffee Country. Tons of blooms, no BS, and much taller than I expected.

I got Papi Delbard from RU (now Ashdown also has it). Short climber with huge gorgeous blooms. It is definitely fragrant has a complex spicy smell.

Most of what I bought this year is too small to talk about, except that I'm crazy about Secret Garden Musk Climber. Other roses I grow that came from Pat are Ginger Hill (oh scrumptious!), Jardins de Bagatelle, Lady Hillingdon, Eugene de Beauharnais, and Etoile de Hollande cl. For cutting, I highly recommend Ginger Hill and Jardins.

I ordered a "CL. Butterscotch" and two brick red/russet "This Is The Day" minis and received them just prior to their big change.
I really love both of these as their bushes are extremely healthy with great growing vigorous foliage production, and the bloom color of each bush's flowers are so vibrant.
It is such a shame that we can no longer get their roses like we used to.

Since I purchase all my roses from RU, they are ALL my favs. If you have ever visited there and been through their greenhouses when the roses are blooming, you would be hard pressed to name a favorite. I like them all, but lack the room to plant them all.

I'll bet you are talking about Mystic Beauty! It is actually a sport of Kronprincess (sp) Victoria which is a sport of SDLM. I bought it this summer and love it. I have it in a large pot out front.

I didn't know RU had Ginger Hill, get it if you can. Mine is from Carlton's. it is at the front of my rose bed, and I often see passers-by leaning over to take a sniff (it is moderately fragrant). click on photo to enlarge.

Soft Morning, a floribunda, is my vote. I have two, one that is not treated well and one that has moved into a large pot. The potted one has bloomed quite well this season. It is not, however, disease resistant. But a pretty bloom, nonetheless.

I ordered Eden and Mary Magdalene from them last year. Eden is now 15 ft. tall, barely have blooms but I think it's because it's concentrating too much on growing tall. Mary Magdalene is fantastic, very petite and smells divine!

I no longer have them, but Quietness, Mystic Beauty and Mrs. Sam Mcgready were by favorites from RU. I miss them!!!

all the teas, all the chinas, and all the noisettes I have ever purchased from RU have done well. I guess my favorites would Dushess de Brabant and Joe Schwartz and Snow White for their cupped shapes; then Louis Phillippe for his great scent!

My favorite from RU is the EZ backpack sprayer. Works wonderfully! Best thing I have purchased in ages.

I don't know how to answer that question, because I've always received such excellent plants from RU. I love their collection - so many things to try.

Pat talked me into Quietness. In its first season its grown like a weed and bloomed almost continuously. I'm really impressed. Pale pink and fragrant. I buy Bucks from RU - several new ones every year. The Buck roses have come to be one of the backbones of my garden. I bought Golden Unicorn this year also - what georgeous blooms.

Pat got me started with Francis Dubreuill - I have two of them now. I bought Burgendy Iceberg there this year - all the good things about Iceberg plus the incredible color--iut truely is a deep burgendy color.

Gruss an Aachen and Pink Gruss an Aachen. The English Miss.

To be honest, I bet at least 60% of my roses come from RU. I wish I could start at the front of their catalogue and buy my way all the way to the last page.

Quite a few of my roses came from RU. This season I began adding some of Viru Viraghavan's introductions. (I think Pat is the only source for these in the US.) So far, my favorite Viru is the HT 'Southern Sunset'. It has tripled in size & has been in almost continuous bloom. The soft orange and yellow blend is gorgeous. No fragrance though. The Barni HT 'Roberto Capucci' is also one of my new ones that's quite nice.

Another RU exclusive that I like a lot is the floribunda, 'Pink French Lace' (which was introduced by Pat). She's also the only source for one of my all-time favorites, the 1987 HT 'Caramella'.

I'm on the bandwagon for Quietness and Mystic Beauty, both introduced by RU and both great roses.

Your pictures of Papi Delbard are GLORIOUS, and I love the look of this rose but have read negative comments about growth, rebloom, vigor etc. Would you please tell me how this rose behaves in your garden? I haven't often seen a rose with such beautiful coloration. Do you grow any other Delbard roses?

Wow! I am having so much fun looking up everyone's suggestions and also seeing them here! Your photos are fantastic, every last one of them. I hope you are all having fun learning about what RU has to offer. I am kinda narrowing down my order, I think, anyway!

I really like Governor Rosellini. The repeat is amazing and the flowers last a long time. It is in it's 2nd summer, a mannerly 4' high x 3' wide. The raspberry scented flowers are a little smaller than average, but there are so many I don't mind. The color is a medium cherry red.
