Thank you! Flo- I remember that Clair well. The Felicia that wasn't! Joe- Now you gotta tell me who that is- she is yummy! The Birthday week is still in effect. My landlord is having all of my bathroom floor redone as there has been water damage since who knows when. Down side is the house is a mess- Upside- kids now will have a shower in their bathroom and I might actually be able to get into my bathroom now. Kitchen is next! Oh, yeah, I'm really gonna love this! Been wanting it for a long time, but did not, would not, could not bring myself to order it from Wayside, a pathetic excuse for a gardening retailer if you ask me. That looks like Touching on the left, is it? If it is, can you tell whether or not the Silk Road beats the Touching for fragrance? YEAH! I am sooooo sooooo glad to meet another lily nut. My friend across the street is one, too. We run the gamut between longiflorums, trumpets, martagons, asiatics, L.A.'s, orientals, asiatics, and daylilies (even tho not true lilies). Keep your fingers crossed for bloom on my cardiocrinum - one of these years! Would love to share with you, but I think you're way ahead of me. My formosanum is going great guns, so I hope to have tons of blooms (I have 4 stalks from one tiny plant, planted last spring). My friend, Ralph, has a bunch of stalks, but his have been in the ground for awhile. I also gave him my new bulbs a couple of years ago because I had to have brain surgery very quickly, and I just didn't have time to get them in the ground. But, hey, I know where he lives, right? Hi Sue Yeah - "Another year older" ... but not "... deeper in debt"! Nice bonus today - one of the other librarians brought in a "Red Velvet" cake, to celebrate the head librarian's birthday, which was Sunday, and the second head's, which is today ... ... so, being as mine was yesterday, I qualified for a piece, too!
