I have a Sharifa Asma purchased spring 2010 as a bare root from DA. It is very small (under two feet) and only puts out maybe 3 or 4 blooms per season. Last winter I protected it with evergreen branches because it was so small. It isn't at all as vigorous as I have been reading from others and I suspect it may be too shaded or have root competition from nearby plants. Those would include Easy Elegance rose Kiss Me, a sidalcea and a yarrow. Is it too late in the season to dig her up and move her to another location? I can winter protect again. Thanks so much for any help.
