Upon examining my roses this evening..

OK..I know most all you know that I'm a newbie to roses..so..

I go out tonight to check them out. I think the bump in watering is doign them well. I'm seeing new growth on just abot all my roses! However...I have one David Austin rose bush that is so much smaller than all the rest. And, the canes are very thin. It's the only David Austin I own and have ever owned.

Is the thin small canes signs from the underwatering? Or, is this typical of David Austin roses? I've never owned one and it's pretty but producing tiny blooms and has tiny canes. And, in the middle of the bush, I am seeing a lot of brown leaves. Brown= dead? Or does brown = something else?

It's weird, it's like the entire center. But, again, it's such a smaller bush in comparision to the other 11 around it.

I am not sure which I am more worried about, the thin canes or the brown area/leave, or the size of that one bush! Otherwise, all is looking toward the up and up for the rest of my bushes.

Guess that's it for now- Thanks everyone! -Terra
