Austin's Janet - And Others

Janet is a rose that is rarely mentioned, and has received some negative comments (Niels saw it in Europe and mentioned octopus arms and undistinguished blooms).

The first three pictures are closeups of Janet and the next is the bush from which the flowers were picked. The following shot is Cels Multiflora, a tea rose band very recently acquired from Vintage and planted straight into the ground. The last shot is Harlow Carr, acquired as a bare-root from from David Austen more than a year ago. I really like its color and fragrance.

I apologize for the somewhat random nature of my posting, but things seem a bit slow on the antique forum, and I thought there might be some interest in an Austen rose that's very rarely talked about or seen on the forum.
