Need help identifying these 3 flowers in my garden!

I don't know what these perennial flowers are in my garden. They were there when I moved it.

1)Purple tall thin flowers: plant stands 3-4 feet tall. It is just starting to flower now, some are still buds. Flowers are spikes that are pink-purple. I thought it was a weed when it was growing because of how the green leaves looked.

2) Purple groundcover: stands maybe 2 feet tall and flops out from where its base is in the ground. Its stems are mostly brown,not green. Almost looks salvia-like. Not very fragrant. Flowers are mostly bright purple, some looks like they are dying.

3) Yellow daisy-like flowers with darker orange center. Stands 4-6 feet tall. They attract bees. Some of the stems are purple and some are green. They are not very fragrant. They do appear to spread, because there are more this year than last.

It would be a GREAT help is someone could help me identify. I am just getting into gardening, so I don't know all my flowers yet. But I want to figure out what is in my garden so I can learn as I add flowers. Thanks in advance!!

1.) That looks like some kind of Liatris.
3.) It looks like some kind of Heliopsis.

I don't know about number 2. I'm sure someone else will know for sure what all 3 of these are.

1) Liatris (spicata?) Butterflies use for nectar and birds can eat seeds on spent blooms. Groundhogs & deer love mine as much as I do so I don't often get to see blooms. Thanks for sharing yours...LOL.

2) Nepeta (one of groundcover types?) Attracts "good" bees looking for nectar. I have some 'Blue Carpet' new this year and I'm not impressed with them. Got leggy and browning like yours but they get cut back each year so next year's growth may be better.

3) ? Looks like something in the Rudbeckia family but I don't grow them because deer and other critters would eat them.

I'm sure there are more experienced posters who can pinpoint exactly for you.

I live in barrie, on. I inherited 2 of the same spirea from previous owners. Word of caution; this can become very large, spreading & invasive. If you have a large area for it, it is quite nice. But if you are trying to keep it contained in a smaller garden or yard, it will become a problem. I removed one last year & I think the other one will go at the end of the season. It has spread suckering roots 10 ft from its planted location. It's near a patio & the roots are trying to grow through the cracks.

1.) Liatris spicata

2.) Nepeta cultivar, not clear which one, but at two feet it could be 'Walker's Low'

3.) Heliopsis helianthoides

I think #2 is some kind of salvia. nepeta usually is lighter blue.

did it look anyything like this earlier in the season when it was fresh?

I believe #2 is a type of ajuga.

If you look closely at the pic "purple groundcover 1", you will see the floppiness of the crown and new basal growth emerging. That is just how salvia nemosa behaves. (not ajuga) when I see the basal growth, that's when I cut down all the old stems.

2. Salvia...looks exactly like my S. East Friesland that has flopped due to heavy rain and need for dividing. I agree with Wendy about the basil gowth

3. Heliopsis gets my vote too.
