Sherry, To be honest I am not sure what kind of lilies those are...I barely know weeds from water melons...LOL.. I am into photography and I was shooting pictures at the local botanial garden when the butterfly showed up,,I couldn't resist that shot. The first two photos the butterflies are on a tall weed called Teasel, which grows wild on the edge of the meadow by my house.

Hi Misselle! Welcome! That's quite the collection of plants! Very nice! I am horrible with names, so hopefully others will chime in soon and help. Your very last picture is an aloe, and yes, they can be slow to bloom. :-) I get impatient with mine. lol.. The one above it seems to be an Aloe or Agave. I believe the pretty little variegated one a little further up is portulacaria afra aka Elephant bush The one in bloom that you mentioned the photo blurry may be a Senecio It is important that you learn all the names or at least the family the plants are from to know the proper care. Especially on the mixed dishes. Many grow at different times of the year. Good luck! I will be watching this and learning with you. :-)

Oh my goodness, thank you for the lovely compliments, support and well wishes. That's so nice. I really appreciate each one. I am still scratching my head over the mantel arrangement and the large hall arrangement. What's the difference between a large hall arrangement and a large bouquet anyway? I think for the large bouquet I'm going to use a large white wash pitcher with Annabelle Hydrangea. No fillers, just clean and simple. And for the large hall arrangement, I'm thinking of making a topiary using an ice bucket for the base filled with floral foam and top with moss. Then using a ball of floral foam covered with moss and roses for the top. I'll see if I can find a super straight stick for the trunk, if not I will use dowel. But I'm not sure this will be large enough. Well, I will just have to try it and see! The frog vase isn't a vase at all. It's a tobacco jar that was passed down to me from my Grandmother. It is much older than I and is one of my favorite family pieces. I don't think he is a character from "Wind in The Willows". Cindy- I bet your bouquets were wonderful. What a nice way to brighten your work space! Becr- I sorry here hear about your rose. I will also cross my finger for you. The varieties of rose I used are; Elle Margaret Merril New Dawn Morden Blush Belinda's Dream Knockout Graham Thomas The Fairy Alba Mediland GGG- Thanks for the great tips! Hi cxjr Those are such interesting plants you have there! The brom-in-a-coconut might be the start of a cool new fad. A bunch of them grouped together would look great on the deck of a pool where you could view them from down in the water. I wish I could see more of the bouganvillea where the aralias have left it stranded. Would it break the trunk of you stood it up and staked it to something sturdy? I love the gnarly bare trunk and it seems like growing a bouganvillea "tree" might enable you to keep it and emphasize its structure. I recently pruned an old, twisted giant purple that looked like it would soon engulf a little church. I ended up with several large trunks that needed to be propped with 2x4s to stand upright, and I think once it gets its strength to hold itself in that position and I can remove the supports, it will create a place we can walk under, with the blooming branches arching above. I saw a bouganvillea grown as a tree in Boca Grande 20 years ago and have wanted to try it myself. I hope you'll keep us posted as to what you do, and let us see your progress on the one you are bonsai-ing. Oh, one more thing . . . . I suspect your cute little plumeria cutting will soon outgrow its space. I am amazed at how fast they grow and how big they can get. What color is yours? Mark, it would be a cold frame structure raised off the ground by 3 1/2' with mesh floor. I have a greenhouse (unheated) also, but trees close by are starting to block some of the light. Can't take them down.
This mini greenhouse is on south east side of house and gets sun all day long. Like to have roof on, because then I control when and with what they get watered with. I keep quite a few on both decks also.

Nice greenhouse....do you still have room in your GH? Can I keep some of my plants in your GH?

Rick! lol I don't know what to say. I wish you were my neighbour! Hell, I wish all of you were my neighbours. Oggling each other's plants will be much easier

I don't have room in my greenhouse Marie, but if I did I would snaffle some of yours in a heart beat. These things are crazy. I keep saying no, but somehow I keep starting more. What can I say. Crazy, He!.
I wish it where easier for me to send plants to many of my friends here on GW from here (Canada).
Many moons ago a friend gave us so many plants or cuttings and now the sharing and giving is my time to give back. This is the part of gardening that makes it so special to me.
You are all very special to me.

picture looks very special / lovely.

Wonderful collection, as others have said, so clean and healthy. Interesting to see you have some outdoors. As you are in Canada you must be on a similar latitude to me, 53 degrees north, but you have warmer summers I think. They are obviously responding to the care you give.
