Anyone grow BOTH Don Juan and Red Eden?

I am trying to figure out WHICH would be more suitable to grow as a tall shrub in the corner of the L of a split rail fence in my back yard. Along both sides of that L we have a few Austin roses. I just s/p'd an old body bag Othello rose in that corner...it had octopus arms which we staked at times.

Helpmefind makes it sound like Red Eden (coming from RU) has the potential to grow taller (12-15 ft.) than Don Juan (8-12 feet). I realize neither of them will grow any higher in my zone than probably 8-9 feet. Oh, and the Don Juan is a J&P boxed rose, so it's grafted I believe...if that makes any difference.

I am wondering if anyone who grows BOTH can help me decide which might be nicer on a split rail fence. The other would have to just be another tall shrub somewhere elsewhere...we have Polka doing the same in our back yard. I'm not so worried about them climbing on structures....I just want them for their blooms!

Thanks! :0) Phyl
