I do have a privacy fence and also I have two trees very close to my neighbor line. I did not plant them they grew on their own. I think they are Maple or just huge green trees. They are so beautiful like drawn by an artist extending 80-90 feet tall and spreading their branches and roots in my neighbor's yard.I asked the neighbor permission to come to their yard with my ladder and chain saw. They did not mind. I trim as much as I can. It is embarrassing. I asked the Neighbor if it is a bother to them I can remove them and his wife said "No don't I love the trees you don't know how much oxygen they are producing and look how many bird nests in the trees I enjoy the singing of the birds". I planted 4 Apricot trees this year on the same side but left a good 6 feet between the trees and the fence. Even they are dwarf Apricot trees and don't grow that much I wanted to make sure they stay in my property. Some Neighbors are very cynical once I had a neighbor who used to get upset when my cat walks on his grass He moved. I am lucky now I have Good ones.

It's not a simple answer. Various components complicate things, such as arm styles, attached cushions and non-removable feet. Tilting 45 degrees so that the top of the back and the top of the kick panel are in line vertically and the base of the outside back is at the other extreme is the most direct way. You can also get one arm in and rotate left and right. There are also some sofas that are made in modules -- the deck, the back and both arms are made and upholstered separately, then assembled either in the factory, store or home. The arms either slide off or unbolt. Sometimes the deck and the back also unbolt. You might have to remove the dust cover to do this and staple a new one back on.

Last year I began getting a sporadic release from the T&P valve on my gas water heater. Like most DIYers I pursued the easiest solution and replaced the T&P valve with an exact replacement (there are different T&P valves and different specs).. The problem continued. I called Watts (the manufacturer of the OEM and replacement T&P valve) and spoke to an engineer there. I asked what the incidence of defective T&P valves is. His reply was that since T&P valves are a safety device there is immense product liability and they are throughly tested and the DOA rate is EXTREMELY low ... almost none he said. That's when I discovered "thermal expansion". Sure enough, I did have a PRV out at the water meter that prevented the water in the house plumbing system from equalizing presuure by backflowing into the water system. With a closed plumbing system every time my water heater fired the water would expand and if that excess pressure was not relieved by coinincidentally opening a faucet or flushing a toilet at the right moment the T&P valve would "burp" a cup full of water. I found a nifty pressure gauge with a "tattletale" needle at ... http://www.wattspremier.com/watts/showdetl.cfm?&DID=15&Product_ID=93&CATID=1 Low and behold the tattletale needle showed enough pressure to pop the T&P valve. So, instead of treating the symptom I cured the disease ... installed a thermal expansion tank and all is well. Funny thing is, now that I don't have a thermal expansion problem I also don't have those dripping faucets anymore. Maybe because the faucets don't have to deal with water pressure spikes up to 125lbs???

We had Verizon when we live in Annapolis. Had an instance where service went out (it was just us as both next door neighbors where up and running). Called Verizon, waited FOREVER and was told it would be FIVE DAYS before someone could come out. So I drove up to the local Verizon service shop (not a store but the place where all the technicians go to every morning and get the truck, supplies, assignments, etc..... dingy warehouse building in the back of a dingy industrial park). Talked to the foreman there and he filled out a service request for 8AM next morning. Funny sidebar: He's typing out the request and he noted "Customer irate". I said "I'm not irate" and he replied "I know but if I don't put that down they ignore it". Anyway, sure enough, a guy showed up at 8AM the next morning. And I brought two dozen doughnuts to the shop the NEXT morning! It was much appreciated. I had some other problems over the ensuing years and I just went up to the shop. Didn't even call Verizon's service number. Worked VERY well! So you might try that.
