I think most of your real dark reds are a cooler blue tone not a warmer yellow/orange tone. Veterans' Honor is a yellower red but it's also not that deep dark color.

Love's Promise stays a fairly true red for me without "bluing", but it doesn't hold a lot of the "black" as the bloom ages. Buds are very black and blooms open with a very distinct black edging, but by end of the bloom life, it is mostly red. Here's a picture of an aging bloom with only a bit of black left:

Hot Cocoa might also work for you. It really isn't black, at all, but a deep rusty red color, and depending on the weather, can have orangey red tones...no purple or blue tones ever for me.

You might do well looking for roses classed as russet or brown in color. The first that came to my mind was 'Black Tea'. I've never grown it (I'm not partial to those colors), but the HelpMeFind link to its page is below.

Is Black Magic still available.? I love mine. Stays dark red even in the heat. It never gets bluish. My camera, when I took this picture, didn't capture how dark the red was. It is a med-tall narrow bush for me, lots of blooms.
