What Does This NE Weather Mean For Our Roses

I know its a sign of boredom when we talk about the weather... But, I am boring. Easily entertained by the simplest of things.

In the Northeast, our weather has been nondescript. Consistently nondescript. It did not get cold throughout the winter and it did not get warm in March. It seems like every day is a high in the 40's. Plenty of rain.

The roses are inching along. Canes are thick and green. Buds are swelling. There seems to be a lot of buds and every rose is just about at the same stage. Even the ones I transplanted during winter.

My expectation for an outstanding spring flush does not go away or even moderate.

How do the rest of you in the NE feel?
