I saw this tee-shirt in a catalog. I wish I had the nerve to get it.

"Democrats are the sexiest. When did you ever hear of a good piece of elephant?"

No to the OP question, but my daughter has put Darth Vader breathing on her cell as a ring tone. That is downright scary--sends chills up my spine when her phone rings--or I guess I should say "breathes."

Auntjen- someone in my neighborhood has that! I was telling my husband about it. Actually, I have plain stick figures, dad, mom, girl, boy, dog, cat. I want to put the cat in the dog's mouth. I thought that would be a good take on that stuff. Rucnmom- very funny! I saw the pulling hair one the other day and although I thought it was funny it was very awkward watching my kids reading it. Ewwww. I know this was on a shirt but I will share anyway. A girl snowboarding had a black shirt with hot pink writing. It said "Got Boobs? then get a mammogram". I approached the 20 something and told her I appreciated her at least wearing a Boob shirt that was worthwhile and not stupid like so many wear. I told her I just finished treatment and boarded away. She stood there in disbelief and smiled really big.

My DH was once drawn to slogan t-shirts (thankfully, not so much anymore). A few years ago he received a shirt in the mail emblazoned with "She Looked Good Last Night." Apparently this is a quote (or was on a shirt worn by a character) in a remake of the movie, "The Bad News Bears." He thought it was funny. I thought it was incredibly lame, and I told him there was no way I'd be seen anywhere in public with him wearing that shirt. I don't believe the shirt has ever been on his body; in fact, I think it's long since just disappeared. This is just to say that my DH is ordinarily a very sensitive, thoughtful man and I know he wouldn't purposely offend someone. For whatever reason, that particular shirt struck him as being so funny that he had to own it (however briefly), which just tells me that even the good guys can have less than stellar moments from time to time. ;-)

I'm with you, Kathsgardn. When we were at the Grand Canyon this spring we bought tee shirts that I had put away and forgotten--I have to wear sleeveless, cooler shirts in the summer because I feel the heat more intensely than most. As it cooled down yesterday I pulled it out and was pleased to notice it was a nice weight. And I remember being quite pleased with the price too--quite a bit less than I expected to pay! Yes, these thin, ridiculous shirts have been foisted upon us by greedy manufacturers who call it "style." I would be willing to pay more for a heavier shirt, but they don't seem to exist.

I finally bought a t-shirt of my favorite despair.com poster:

(It says "CLUELESSNESS: There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.")

Only problem is that I forgot that rectangles become de facto trapezoids when I wear them... and the words cannot be read unless I hold the hem of the shirt out to pull them out of the "darkness"... sigh... oh well... I still think it's funny, and I'm living for the day that someone tells me they have a stupid question and then asks what my shirt says...

Oh, and the t-shirt is actually Made in America... by robots (spend some time on the web site and you'll see why this is funny)...

I saw one I really wanted it had a picture of a basket with a handle on it. The question said "Where are we going? and why am I in this handbasket?!!"

The other one had a bottle of wine and a goblet. It said

Our gift we brought to "dirty santa" "white elephant", whatever you call it (it's different everywhere) last night was a t-shirt that said:

"It's all fun and games 'til the flying monkey's show up"

It has a stick person being carried away by stick monkeys. Everyone fought over that and our bottle of blackberry wine from Bean Creek.

I just got one for a young friend of mine...it's "Don't Hassle the Hoff" We had some laugh's over how stupid David Hasselhoff was and he mentioned his "autobiography" of the same name so I couldn't resist when i saw the t-shirt. Think this may go on for sometime...I see maybe a cd or the book for Christmas lol.
