Very enjoyable, Mari. I love Osteospermum, too, but I don't have the whirlygig ones like you! Love that gladiolus. Someday I'll get the hang of the timing for winter flower gardening here. I guess that's the key to glads (and other not-so-heat-tolerant flowers) in Florida, right?

What a treat to see Reine des Violette blooms on a cold January night. One of my all time favorites.
Alliance Franco Russe is also looking great. An alliance between France & Russia, huh? Hmmm...

I have to admit, our yard sales have been a bit off this year, some subdivisions that usually have the whole subdivision did not even have them this year, but this is always a good one where I got all these things. Actually got most of it at one sale! You ladies would have gone wild, her whole driveway was tables & tables of fall & xmas decor!!! The rooster charges are a three different roosters, not all the same. I'm hoping there will still be some more good ones, I feel like I've made a huge dent in my tablescaping hobby, but wouldn't mind finding more! LOL (greedy)!!!!

Getting harder to get around so I don't go to many. I did pick up some deals on clearance at Target though. I've been wanting to get an atomic clock for the living room and they had an atomic clock/radio with dual alarm on clearance so I got two. One will be a gift. And they had a bunch of spices on clearance so I picked up a bunch to replace my old stuff. Had coupons for a free Gillette ProGlide razor and a free bottle of Pantene shampoo. For the cost of tax, I'll try them out. Picked up a bunch of the reuseable bags last time I was at Kmart too for 20Â¢ ea. I've started using them a lot for various things around the house and I even use them at the stores. The last sale I stopped at I just started looking at the pricing and didn't bother to go look at everything. If they had something I was interested in, it wouldn't have been at a price I'd pay. Too many people are trying to make their retirement fund from garage sales. It's not that they're trying to get rid of stuff. So I don't really go to many anymore. I wasn't able to go to a neighboring city's citywide sale last week - too stiff and sore but would have liked to go to that one. They often have quite a few where people are just looking to clean out and you can get some real deals.

Thanks for the delicious goodies! It snowed yesterday and the rained all night so it looks like the snow is gone but theres a lot of ice out there.

Sherry, glads will bloom any time of the year here just about 2-3 months after planting. Dont know why the lily is blooming, it bloomed last summer too,

Viper is adorable, I love how he is standing beside the lopers, looks as if he is ready to do his duty. :)

I grow CPM and love the colors of her as the seasons change in my area. Right now though she is buried under a few feet of snow. :(

I had those yellow glads in my cutting space last summer. I sure hope the corms overwinter in my basement, they sure are bright and pretty in a boquet.

RdV is one gorgeous rose. I had it in my old garden and for some reason I haven't replaced it yet here in my new garden. Every time I see a picture of her I want her, love that rose and the color is so special among all my other pinks and yellows.
