I put down a layer of newspaper, and coffee filters. I put down a 6 to 10" layer of oak, pecan and poplar leaves and I covered that with 1 to 3" of coffee grounds. will I have a good amount of soil come spring, or will I have a bunch of leaves and coffee?

should I be composting this stuff and putting the compost down, or doing it this way?

my garden is about 60' x 60' and this is a lot of leaves!

at least I will have a bunch of food for the worms to enjoy!

I am also composting a small bin to spread in the spring. I hope this works... John
