City Project will tear up 1/4 of my new Bermuda lawn

So I've made a tons of posts on here about getting my new seeded Bermuda lawn going, and its coming along. I just learned that a city project to replace a storm drain line will tear up and cover with dirt 1/4 - 1/3 of my front law, and the entire back yard as well. The project should start sometime in October, and I'm wondering what to do about the restoration my yard, since October-November is not a good time to plant Bermuda seed. Can I tell the city to re-seed with the same seed I used to establish the yard in May? How can I maintain it to be ready for seeding until then?

Any other ideas?
