Sorry, I know this is the 3rd post, I'm trying to get caught up on some of my stuff to show ya. Anyway, got these things at 2 different thrift stores. The first one is the little moose cabinet. The two doors open with two drawers at the bottom. The other is the moss covered twig bench. They are sitting on my front porch. Next pic are some goodies that I haven't done alot with yet, except for the bear mirror,(my bathroom)

and the moose frame,(its on my vanity dressing table w/ hubby pic). Anyway still thinking on the rest for outdoor projects!

Oh my!! Please send that Welcome gate to me... It just doesn't look right with all your other stuff!!! LOL!! Just kidding. I love it! All the rustic metal stuff is really cool. And the sweet birds. What a great stash. Keep the pictures comming.

Chris, It took it some time to settle in. I moved it early this spring so was surprised the blooms looked half way decent on it!. I'm sure glad you gave up on it and sent it to me cuz I sure love the pretty blooms and there are LOTS of buds on it now. Debra, Thank you! I sure wished my shots looked as good as yours...LOL! Your clump shot of Cret. Crunch has a lot more bite than mine, but I sure love it! It took a good two years settling time for it to show it's bite. Purple Side Effects was added to my garden last fall. I ordered Bass Gibson and Ruckus from Throughbred and Annette sent PSE as bonus! Purple Cheetah was added last fall as well. Jean, I would be happy to send you some banned in Boston once it cools down a little bit, email me through my page. Natanya, Adorable Tiger is even more striking in person, can't explain it, but this beauty is bright! I really LOVE IT! Candy Cane Dreams is another of my favorites. It seems to glow to me! Val, Thank you. Clarification has been a proven winner, the deer never seemed to eat it's buds....LOL Now that I have it within a protected fence, I plan to do some hybridizing with it. Gesila, how neat of your DH to take the heat if the beautification program is discovered. How about putting up a sign that says Hosta Desplay Garden donated/planted by........ and make it official. Do you have a Keep XX Beautiful up Michigan way? Oh yeah. Someone commented on my thread about the Hosta Shade Structure that "it never happened if you don't get a picture." How philosophical is that!! So where's the Eternal Flame? Never happened? And I was out potting around the garden, in between bouts of rain. Eventually it just opened the spigots and I had to retreat, dripping wet. But I put every last SEED in the house into the ground, including watermelon and birdhouse gourds (not together), summer squash in the front yard by the street, some wild Florida Everglades tomatoes, milkweed for the monarchs, parsley, oregano, chives,--many in the pirogue (double ended fiberglass Cajun canoe)--if not by the street. From about 2pm it has been totally black outside, with the street lights on. Our Civil Defense siren went off at some point, don't know what that was about, and it was coming down like hail at one point, just not tough, but it got really cool. All the wild birds grabbed food from the feeders and disappeared. My parrots on the back deck were very quiet, so when there was a lull in the storm, we rolled their cages up the ramp into the warm area by the dryer for them to get comfy. My potting is over for the day, with the Lakeside Full Tide being the last one to find itself a home. Now to wait for the next spate of orders to arrive, about 15 more in all, which will bring the grand total of unique plants to ----are you ready for this?---136, provided no bonus plants are included.... I cannot wait to get our metal roof so I can relax in a window seat watching the hosta and listening to the rain while reading HOSTAPEDIA, shopping list in hand. :)

Karen, glad to hear that you are feeling a little better. I can surely relate to all you have been dealing with. We had the last of our 3 family weddings yesterday, this time my son's. It was a beautiful day and the wedding was just beautiful. It was an outside wedding and reception and it couldn't have been lovelier. She used fall flowers and deco's and her dress was ivory, and after the service, they had a lovely barbecue dinner with great food. I really enjoyed it= the fact that it waas the last of 3 in 3 months time, (also a grand daughter and a grandson) When I finally got home last night, the fibro really hit me. I was so tired and achey that I went to bed at 8:oo. My Dh woke me up this morn and asked if I was going to church, but when I looked at the clock it was 10:10, so I said "I guess not today" I"ve just been dragging all day long, and am so achey I can hardly move without moaning and groaning. I don't think the weather forcast is helping any either , we are supposed to start getting rain tonight that will last through Thursday. I thought if I could just get through these weddings, I would feel better, but I guess the Fibro devil had other plans. I am glad that you are feeling better though. Maybe what is really wrong with me is that I haven't had my "retial therapy" for a couple of weeks. Maybe I just need a few hours out of the house by myself. Take care, Janet

Instant Celebration has been looking really good Mister Mayor - one of my top 10 for sure Sweet Isabela has been really impressive this year - glad I moved it out of the jungle so I can appreciate it. I'm pretty sure this one has several fans with two scapes also. Arnold's Daughter - sorry can't reach this one to deadhead, I took this pic over the 'fence' looking into the long bed Pigment Of Imagination Armed For Battle - not a great pic, but I can't reach it and have to zoom Angels In The Clouds Mars Attacks Mean Green - this plant is impressive - tall and tons of buds. Morning color Mean Green - This is a pic on a different day, later in the day Well, that's another 10 and I still have tons to go. I'll call it a day and try to do another post when I can. Daisy!!!! I love all your rustic stufff! Especially that ice cream bucket :)

But..this is SO FUNNY....I gotta tell ya I have the same exact birds LOL...we'd stopped at a yard sale, it was after it had already gotten hot, it was a crowded sale and we had to wait to pay for stuff. And I had this little birdbath with the two birds on it, everything was cheap, like a nickel or a quarter, and then this lady says a dollar for the bird. My husband says you're not gonna pay a dollar for that are ya? Well, yeah, that was really the only thing I wanted! He almost swallowed his tongue when we got in the SUV and after I buckled up, I snapped those birds off the bird bath,kept the birds in my bag, and tossed the bird bath into the trash in the back seat :) All I wanted was to use the birds on a mosaic bird house! I might still have the bird house, I'm not sure, I could've sold it by now :)

Oh my! I love it all! I am a sucker for rustic stuff so this is my kind of thing! Love the table, moose cabinet and the moose and bear frames. I am also a sucker for miniatures (I collect little chairs but I'm open to buy other miniture items too). Love the gates and the little door. Love all the rusty stuff and baskets as well. Even love the fish! I need to go to your TS! Too bad, OK is so far away :^(

Wow! I love it all especially the little dish, not sterling is it? Don't usually have pearls & stones!!Nice! you'll be busy for few days!! Seems like I've seen the moose cabinet in LL Bean or another of those catalogs.Enjoy all your fun stuff! Jan

Can ya believe my DH (who is not a shopper) sat in the truck and waited for me for one of those stores??? I seen it on the way in and was about to break my neck to look. I didn't even ask him and when we left town, he pulled in and said ,"ok, hon, ya got 30 minutes." What a sweetie!
Kudzu,that is so funny! I paid 50 cents for mine. I almost didn't see it, it was behind the little gate when I picked it up.
oh, luna, I know! We would have a blast shopping together!!
Sunny, I'm such a dummy, I didn't even think to look! All I could see was a little seat or birdbath for my gr'daughters to put in the fairy garden we are making. I will look, though when I get home tonight!
Thx, for the heads-up, Karen, I'll keep a look-out for Kirk lurking around my cabin treasures!LOL!! But, ya know, it would be fun to go shopping with him and Carol,cuz we like the same decor, although we'd be fighting over the bears!!!!LOL!

I need to find some TS and yardsales like those!! What a haul!! Love the little gate and doorway for your fairy garden. Too cute! And so many other wonderful things. Doesn't it just make you tingle when you have such a good shopping day?! Have fun with all of your finds and let us see what you come up with!
