Fruiting Moutain Ashes -- Has anyone tried these?

Just wondered if anyone has ever tried any of the Mountain Ash (Sorbus) cultivars developed in Europe for their edible fruit?

Someone in my neighborhood has a tree which I'm pretty sure is either an 'Ivan's Beauty' or and 'Ivan's Belle' -- it was a very pretty small tree this spring and summer, and had interesting looking fruit this autumn.

There is also a non-hybrid (straight Sorbus, not an intergeneric hybrid like the above-two) called 'Rabina' which is supossed to be non-astringent and non-bitter.

Just wondered if anyone is actually growing and using these fruits. They look intriguing, but I would like to have some input before I spend the money on them.
