Hi all, It's nice to be missed. :o) That was a doozy, I tell ya. I finally started to feel half way human on Saturday, and then we were into reno mode again for 2 days. Yesterday was catch up day for laundry, housework etc, so finally today I have some time to come and say hey. :o) I did get to see some of the end of the olympics - how exciting was that hockey game!!! I watched some of the closing ceremonies, but not all unfortunately. I'll have to do some Youtubeing along with Steff. I watched Tom Brokaw's special on Canada - pretty ambitious project for 6 minutes, but very interesting. It's amazing when you think that Canada's population is pretty much the same as California, eh? Forgive me if someone posted the link here already. I like facebook just fine and I have over 200 friends. All are real-life friends and family except a couple (on-line friends). I have quite a few childhood friends I've reconnected with, old students from work I'm friends with, former co-workers, etc., church friends, (my church even has a FB page!) not to mention family members and out-of-town friends. For that, Facebook is a great way to keep in touch! I read/comment much more than I post. I don't share alot of pictures and I rarely share funnies, sayings, etc. I think the only selfie I have ever done is for a FB profile pic. As someone above mentioned, I don't post stuff I wouldn't want my friends, family, co-workers, pastor to know/see! I don't post personal stuff. One thing I don't understand is people who "check-in" every time they are out-to-eat, shopping, seeing a movie, going to an event, etc. I mean really, I'm glad people are doing these things, but does everyone need to know? Also, those who post when they are away from their homes, don't they know they are just advertising the fact they are away from home? But I can overlook that stuff and enjoy my FB time.

No problem! Hopefully we can get some members to be posting on garden projects they are working on, would love to share photos and chat. @PKPonder, I need to take pics of the canna you gave me! So happy with them, they grew like crazy this simmer & were great for the problem area. Thanks again!

Every baby's birth is such a miracle of life, I saw my great grand born, his Mom never uttered a sound throughout the birthing. Greatest experience of my life and now I have my own little boy to dote on. Robo your Emmett is precious.
