The Beautiful Tea Roses. Let's Support Growing Them.
Comments (20)The idea of Tea roses being strong and resilent has always intrigued me. This one 'Francis Dubreuil' has shown those amazing Tea strengths and I have to thank Paul Zimmerman at Ashdown for sending them in place of some older climbing roses. I protect my roses in a fashion that keeps them like zone 5b or 6a not at all like the zone 4a I live in. In warmer winters, the protection can be similar to zone 7. I would not hesitate in those actual zones to increase my share of Teas with the choice of plants available so early in the season from the growers (my fear in Minnesota is that by the time the Teas can be shipped here in spring, they have pretty much been picked over). As you can see, the new growth on the Tea comes directly behind the last bloom and require little or no pruning. Also the rate at which they regenerate their bloom is so very impressive....See Morerobo calls
Comments (22)The call blocking didn't work when I had it before so I got rid of it. It was cheap; maybe $5 a month but since it didn't work, why pay for it. jellytoast is right. I can't fathom how a PAC is a political party and can call over and over. I've emailed the IA att. gen. and if there's anything he can do I think he will. He's pretty aggressive about stuff. I'm going to talk to the phone company later today. I had to leave for church before I got transferred to the right person. I will do that when I have an hour or two to spare. I'll have to tell them everything all over again and repeat it to each one as I get moved along. I'll copy the numbers today. I used to keep a clip board by the phone for that so I'll have to find that again....See MoreBaby advice for Robo!
Comments (184)Just thought I would update that the countdown is on, six weeks left, and all is well as far as I know. I'm getting pretty huge and I don't know how I'm going to keep growing for six more weeks! Still have my ankles though! I have been very thirsty lately and I'm thinking that is because apparently your level of amniotic fluid grows a lot at this time. I'm slowing down a bit and I had to stop driving because of road rage – – – turns out pregnancy rage is real! Not usually a very angry person so I don't have a lot of coping mechanisms. My new job is quite demanding and I have been trying to do a really good job filling in as they are just about to post the position for a two-year term. So I find I have been going to bed earlier and earlier in the evenings! I met with a postpartum Doula and I have decided to engage her services for afterwards. I have heard that the nurses at my hospital are amazing and supportive so I thought I would rather spend the money to have support when we are home alone and everyone is crying at 4 AM. I also didn't have much luck engaging my husband with online prenatal classes so we are doing a series of in person classes at the very last minute!...See MoreWelcome baby Emmett
Comments (158)So sorry to hear this. Hoping you both get home together soon. One suggestion. When my daughter and her baby boy were in separate hospitals, I took the pillowcase she slept on to her baby so he could smell her. I did that daily as long as they were separated. May sound corny but we felt it helped and the nurses had no problems with it....See MoreOakley
