we recently bought this house. we are planning to put some perennial on top and bottom beds of the rockwall.Right now we have only tulips on top bed.Tulips season is almost over.Top bed is going to look empty in few days(as you see on the picture). We dont have any idea what plants to put. My house is like 6-7ft above the road level. The rockwall is like 12-14ft wide and 3ft in height.we dont want to cover the rockwall fully with tall perennial or shrubs. I think 1-2 ft plants will look good on top and bottom beds.We are trying hard to find some good plants for front yard. When we went to garden center it is very confusing for us what to buy because there are so many varieties. We dont know most of their names. We bought some of the plants they are goldmound spirea, dward daylilies, veronica(redfox),genereal care armeria. Fortunately before I plant I came across this wonderful site with great gardening experts.could please suggest me what plants look better on top bed and what plants look better on bottom bed. I'm looking for suggestions, ideas, thoughts, comments, on ways to improve the front yard look nice. Thanks in advance.
