From my container newbie mom, to you.

My Mom wrote this poem for all of you lastnight thinking of you...

Are you in the winter of your life

The time when things refuse to grow?

Where ice has formed around your heart

Buried beneath the snow?

You who understand your plants

Knows the healing part of soil

Who transplants the dying ones

For them, how hard you toil

In the winter what do you do

To make sure they don't die?

Take them in and nurture them

The cold you will defy

Yet you don't see the shards of life

That rips your soul to shreds

The dryness in your soil of life

Won't support what lies ahead

If you had a greenhouse

Providing warmth and light

Isn't that where you would go

To treat your plants aright?

You need to nurture your own heart

Not with the world outside

But in the greenhouse of Gods love

And forever there reside..

Take care of your soil....
