Ashley's Senior Prom
Comments (26)Sherry, I don't know when she's getting married. David's sister "surprised" the family with the announcement that she was getting married this summer. That wedding is May 20. David's mother says she can't handle two weddings in one year, it's too "stressful". Since Amanda doesn't really care whether they get married or not, she just said they'd wait until next year. It's fine with me, I have Ashley's graduation, then her open house, her trip to Costa Rica, and college preparations to make for fall, I have plenty to occupy me this summer (and to spend my money on!) Comments (34)I do have a watchdog. :) She's Teddy The Wonder Dog and she can use her laser-eyes to vaporize bad guys. At night, you can see the laser-eyes real good (as shown in photo above). However, she was IN the car with me when I pulled into the driveway Friday afternoon. She did snarl and growl at the unidentified stranger in my back yard, so kudos to Teddy for that. Here's a picture of Teddy The Wonder Dog during daylight hours. She is a good little dog, but not too intimidating during the day. But she's a good barker and I think she'll be a good watch dog....See MoreProm dress where to buy
Comments (18)If she lives close to a nice shopping area, I think getting a good fit and look involves trying on dresses. California has large metro and suburban areas, but also quite isolated rural areas. Give us an idea of the general area where she lives. I found dresses for DD at department stores here in southern California and also at teen type shops....See MoreHi! is there any interior designers that wouldn’t mind helping me out?
Comments (33)Stay calm! You have “buyer’s remorse” and it is not a death sentence! We have all had that new haircut that didn’t end up like the picture at the hairdresser’s and the the dress we bought and hated when we got home. But the haircut grew out and our “ someone special” told us the dress made us look younger and skinnier! Don’t do anything radical yet. Take a deep breath and stop for a few days (weeks, months?) before you rip out anything ( although I agree the “side splash” needs to go). It is heartbreaking to spend hard earned money and feel disappointment. It certainly doesn’t help when “pros” are rude and demeaning. And then, they come through with reasonable and elegant solutions to a problem. I certainly agree, from the vantage point of ownership of several houses, that it ripping out hardwoods is a bad idea-would you choose a cubic zirconia over a real diamond?...See Morearcy_gw
