Enjoy this collection of photos from a beautiful basement development of a gorgeous inner city home in Calgary Alberta. The Staple family was referred on to us by friends, and trusted us to take their unfinished space and design something that was both functional, fun, and family friendly.

Working with Marty and Alana was an absolute treat. You may have met people as nice as them before, but definitely not nicer. :) They allowed us to pitch ideas, collaborate on designs/colours/materials, and trusted us when we felt strongly about a direction.

The kids playhouse is a prefect example of capitalizing on available space, and designing something specific for there families needs. We were able to finish the playhouse in a manner that it didn't stand out as an eye sore, but rather became this enviable escape for the kids, that was really easy on the eyes.

The space is around 1100 sq. ft., and also contains a bedroom, not shown here. Enjoy!
