This inner city Calgary infill home had a great location, great bones, but lacked the final touches that made a house a home. Chelsea and Kenton had us into their home to finish the basement, add a fireplace on the main floor, and to add the finishing touches to the home - features like wainscotting and crown moulding. Keeping with the transitional theme, we were able to give the entire home a proper flow, building and designing features normally found in a home much larger. The basement features a media center, wet bar, murphy bed, bathroom, custom bookshelves, and a nice size bedroom. In order to not overwhelm the space, we broke up the large wall of cabinetry by keeping it two tone - white cabinets bookending the maple center piece.
