This small 750 square foot Austin pied-a-terre was originally a plain concrete apartment with very little personality. We wanted to combine a bit of Texan culture with a fresh color palette and contemporary feel - especially as the design is for an Airbnb rental.

We wanted the interior to be attractive to everyone who stepped in the door, so we chose an earth-toned color palette consisting of soft creams, greens, blues, and peach. Contrasting black accents, locally sourced artwork, and an eclectic mix of textiles and wall decor create a personalized and homey ambiance while also bringing in a “city vibe.”

We designed this interior to be durable and low-maintenance, allowing the home to look just as good years down the road as it does today.
