The client wanted to update their kitchen to create a more usable layout. We played with the kitchen's interesting angles to improve functionality. The perfect way to achieve this was a large island to serve as the hub for the house and the custom cabinetry in taupe to include charging drawers for devices and an appliance garage for their coffee maker. We complemented the taupe with a white patterned countertop. Modern pendant lights and black rattan chairs complete the kitchen island. A metallic element was included with a double bowl hammered copper apron kitchen sink. We added open wall-mounted shelves for additional storage to keep the countertop clutter-free. The little dining area has been redecorated with a round table, upholstered chairs in blue, and an elegant geometric glass chandelier. And we adorned the windows with patterned roman shades.

After the successful kitchen update, our Austin interior design studio was thrilled to be invited back to remodel this client’s bathroom. Our clients wanted to modernize their existing bathroom to create a bright, open, and polished look. So we added a soothing color palette, clean lines, and a gorgeous new tub to create a relaxing space with a spa-like appeal.

Project designed by Sara Barney’s Austin interior design studio BANDD DESIGN. They serve the entire Austin area and its surrounding towns, with an emphasis on Round Rock, Lake Travis, West Lake Hills, and Tarrytown.
