A couple load bearing walls stood between this kitchen and a panoramic view of our coastal wetlands. Some creative engineering and a lot of steel allowed for an open-plan kitchen and sweeping views from any point in the living room, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen and dining areas are defined by wood flooring in a herringbone pattern. Appliances with applied cabinet panels create a uniform look.
