Oh, yes! There are plenty of Canuck Hostaholics, yours truly certainly counts himself as one. I participated in the Hallson's Secret Trade this past year -it was organized by Natalie from Montreal, not sure she's on this or any GW forum for that matter- and it was great fun and very rewarding. In addition I approached a lady in Ottawa -Hi Dorothy- and we arranged a swap as well. For those interested you can read all about my Hosta adventures on my personal website. I'm on a small suburban lot, 50x100, so there is really only so much physical space I have for planting in the ground, but I do grow a fair number in pots. Your posts have made me anxious for our Thanksgiving to get here. You will all have such a nice day with wonderful food and family. Pickyshopper, I don't know which holiday people travel "home" for in the States. Good question! Our family always gathered at Thanksgiving and it's still my favorite holiday. Cherryfizz, I was wondering if anyone was having butter tarts. They sounds so yummy! Blfenton, eight people is quite a few--or would be in our little house. Isn't it strange that both our countries have basically the same meal for Thanksgiving? We're all pretty smart--can't think of another meal that tastes better or smells better. Jasdip, (Miss Smarty in the top ten on the trivia game :-) I want to make your turnip puff and have the recipe but did you say you made it with rutabaga? I like rutabaga better, but wanted to double-check. Holy cow, Taigen, you're a better mom than I am. One turkey dinner is enough! I'd be tempted to freeze the leftovers and reheat. Joseph Corlett, LLC I don't mind solicitations for reviews. I got one yesterday from our flooring retailer and will provide it once I get the molding and after the flooring is installed later this month. I've gotten solicitations for product reviews in the last few weeks from online vendors. It seems to be an automatic thing if you make a purchase. The only reason I didn't provide the product review is because too much personal info was required to set up an account to submit the review. It's a verified purchase so asking for all that detail at the end of the process after I've written the review was a turnoff.

Could be a few reasons, probably mainly to drive traffic to a website selling a product; worse, but still very likely, is to embed malicious code into the clicker's system. I read somewhere it's happening on Reddit postings where code is embedded in super-super tiny white font that the human eye can't see but AI can read. Probably happening all across the web, too. I don't know the details but honestly it makes me not want to do anything on the web anymore. That's not likely to happen, but I have cut down my recreational 'net use drastically.
