I think I wouldn't mind this if I made it like a twist on french toast and grilled cheese Dip the bread in soup and grill both sides till browned and finish like a grilled cheese sandwich.

Thanks Jo, I started with one clump of Undulata and now it's the ground cover for that entire side of the house. Sagae was half dead when I stuck it over there 2 years ago and basically walked away. I'm not thrilled with the color combination but it loves it there.

Nice clump of El D, I moved mine, and several other daylilies, by the side of our shop. Most of those have not bloomed nearly as well since, misses morning sun, but gets at least 6 hours. I guess I will move them out and try something else in there. I really like Photon Torpedo, it has a lot going on that I like. The color, histone, and topped off with a watermark, just lovely.

I wore baby blue, black and white this last week.. I have NEVER been a baby blue person. God knows what got into me at the goodwill racks. Maybe it was the stripes and the three large buttons by the knee. It is one of those colors that I pawned off as cute, safe and boring. It actually looked pretty good.Crisp and Cool on a hot summer day. Colors are weird that way. You set up ruts about them, preconditions, and predjudices.. My mother always made me wear yellow which looked awful with my fair pink skin. She had my sister wear reds and fuchsias and the other sister blue and lavenders. I was always jealous of the rich reds and dark fuchsias that Mali was allotted . Johannas blues only tempted me when they were complicated tertiaries, never tempted by the simple pure baby blues. When I left Mom's realm of power, and broke out on my own , I bought some red silk pants and the rest was history. I looked great in red, fuchsia, burgundy and such. Even my mother said it looked pretty good. OH , I swelled with pride at my naughty rightness. I have been in a red rut for a long time. Maybe I should live life dangerously and give yellow another chance. Maybe I should let go of my "Yellow resentment" even if it still looks like hell.
