I wore baby blue, black and white this last week.. I have NEVER been a baby blue person. God knows what got into me at the goodwill racks. Maybe it was the stripes and the three large buttons by the knee. It is one of those colors that I pawned off as cute, safe and boring. It actually looked pretty good.Crisp and Cool on a hot summer day. Colors are weird that way. You set up ruts about them, preconditions, and predjudices.. My mother always made me wear yellow which looked awful with my fair pink skin. She had my sister wear reds and fuchsias and the other sister blue and lavenders. I was always jealous of the rich reds and dark fuchsias that Mali was allotted . Johannas blues only tempted me when they were complicated tertiaries, never tempted by the simple pure baby blues. When I left Mom's realm of power, and broke out on my own , I bought some red silk pants and the rest was history. I looked great in red, fuchsia, burgundy and such. Even my mother said it looked pretty good. OH , I swelled with pride at my naughty rightness. I have been in a red rut for a long time. Maybe I should live life dangerously and give yellow another chance. Maybe I should let go of my "Yellow resentment" even if it still looks like hell.

I had heard of chia seeds and even chia seedlings for many decades. But when I tried it in some kind of tapioca drink, it was really good. Small, glutinous, and makes a crunch when you manage to bite down on a seed. I wonder why I hadn't tried it before!
