I like Ken. I still watch as much as ever. Of the other hosts, I liked the guy who was formerly a producer, and David Farber I think was the journalist. David would have been a good host I think. But I like Ken, and am amused when a contestant does something Ken did, like today’s accomplishment, and Ken can reference it but not himself!

I know he checks answers and pronunciations beforehand as Alex did, Alex was a mentor to him.

Ken is doing fine and I watch as much as ever. In my mind’s ear I also seem to hear, ”here is the host of Jeopardy... Alex Trebek”

DH watches it religiously and me sometimes. We both like Ken and I prefer him over Alex. DH was watching reruns of the GOAT episodes with Ken as a contestant last week and Alex's slow enunciation of every.single.word drove me crazy. Ken is quick-witted and is better with the contestants imo.

I was not originally a fan of Ken when he was first being considered but he has relaxed and grown into the job and there is a lot to say for a guy who you know would actually knows the answers. He does a really good job and is really quick and quirky with the contestents. I like him

Now having said that I would like them to stop all this bringing back failed contestants and stick with having more new people get their chance to show their stuff. Too much championship stuff as well.

I think we will always expect Alec Trebek.

I watch it when I think of it, so not religiously. I like Ken as well but always when they say "and now here is the host of Jeopardy."....I always say Alex Trebek. I think he does a very good job.

Could never watch Jeopardy for long due to Alex. He was so stiff. It's much easier to watch now.

I will always miss Alex, but Ken is doing a good job. I went to see a taping of the show in 2024 and enjoyed it.

For me, it's similar to watching a sporting event. I watch for the game and the competitors. What the sports commentators do or don't say doesn't affect my experience much.

I watch Jeopardy from time to time (and no other regularly scheduled TV programs at all). I've never gotten particularly attached to one host or another and I don't think it makes a big difference.

I didn't care much for Bialik, having a manner that was a bit phony and uncomfortable. Jennings does a reasonable job, he's personable and seems to have a good sense of humor.

I like the tournaments when they bring back past winners/capable competitors. The shows are more interesting when there's an effort made by the producers to select more capable players who've proven they're a cut above the crowd.

In regular episodes, it's not that unusual to have duds. Contestants who either because of a lack of confidence, stage fright or having less ability than others make what should be a 3 person contest into a 2 person contest because they're out of the running from the start. Sometimes, it can even be no contest at all when there are signs that one player is significantly better than the other two.

I rarely watch, but I like both and find Ken more relatable.

I watched Jeopardy in the very early years, then lived for quite some time where no television reception was available, so didn't watch for many years, except sporadically, like when I'd visit my mom, who was a game show fan. I never cared for Alex; he was awkward and abrupt in his interactions with contestants, but I, too, hear his name filled in after "starring."

I like Ken quite a bit and now that I have streaming services, I tape it and watch at my leisure. I really don't like celebrity jeopardy, mostly because I have no idea who most of them are, lol, but also the questions seem dumbed down and I kind of cringe over how poorly some of them do. I am sometimes very surprised by someone's depth of knowledge, tho.

I've passed through the room with my wife watching that particular flavor and I agree with you. And even with the apparently lower degree of difficulty many celebrities seem to struggle all the same.

I think Ken is doing a great job and has a better rapport with the contestants than Alex. I watch it most nights. Anytime I know an answer I feel like I should get a medal. Its fun. I cant believe the body of knowledge of some contestants. Theres an Asian fellow on now who just tears through most of the answers.

If I were the announcer Id have to read from a card every night night so I didnt say Alex instead of Ken.

I read that Johnny recorded the introduction some time back, except for the contestant introductions. Those he records from home in a batch for each week’s shows.

It was funny to hear Ken talk about the current champ’s accomplishment, where he is second only to Ken for most correct answers in a game. But Ken couldn’t say his own name.
