Floof! Exercise attitude

What type of exercise or activity do you do? How often? Do you enjoy it?

I have always been advised my whole life by "experts" to do the type of exercise that you enjoy. That way, you are more likely to stick to it.

Thing is, I do not enjoy exercise. I have done SO many different things throughout my life, as most of us have I think. Aerobics classes, swimming, water aerobics, work out videos, that Billy Blanks thing, walking, running, dance workouts, weight training, cross fit, I mean the list goes on and on and on. I have been told by gym enthusiasts how addicting it can be when you find the right workout. I have given up on finding joy in it. I purposely make time for physical activity because it is important to my health. Thats it. I would really be happy to be a certified couch potato, but I do not want the health consequences of such.

I walk 7-10 miles a day. I set myself a 15000 step a day minimum and usually meet that. I started wearing a weighted vest a few years ago while walking to increase calorie burn and I heard that it also improves bone strength. And I weight train at home a couple times a week.

My attitude towards exercise is, well, that I have to. I see exercise as paying a bill to myself. I have to do it, even if I do not want to.

What about you?
