Update: more trouble shooting led me to check the DSL speed. The download was about 7 Mbps, and satisfactory but the upload was as low as 80 Kbps - discussing with the Teleco technical support (Century Link) the evening of Thursday last, led to the diagnosis the Telephone modem was malfunctioning, in fact it completely stopped working on the power-down/up test. The CL representative could not provide any access to a replacement modem, but they would ship me one for $15 three days (bet business days, so not until Monday or Tuesday). They could ship overnight for $25. I told them ship 3 day I'm checking with Comcast an may move my service there. I up an running on Comcast at a so-called 105 Mbps which checks out closer to 15 mbps, about the same up/down. Not sure what the 105 Mbps is about. The good news cable, Comcast/Xfinity, was able via over the counter purchase at Walmart of a Cable Modem to put me back in service over my existing TV cable access in a matter of minutes. Down side, we don't want to change our email address. I will check to see how low a price I can get from Century Link and retain my email/ISP account. So far the browser works great.

I've had that page come up, but only since the move to Houzz. I'm on an iPad (iOS 8, Safari browser). It only comes up intermittently, and only when I use my back button. If I click on any of the links it returns me to Houzz. I thought it was some kind of 'ghost' popping up because they're working with the software. Edited to add: I'm pretty sure the one I've been seeing has the GW headings listed. I'll pay more attention if it happens again.

Martinca, I copied it and will paste it here, w apologies that it was just my best guess: Is your computer set to allow cookies? Maybe having to sign in with password every time is because your computer does not allow the necessary cookie? I am not any expert, but that is the best guess that comes to mind. By the way, there is a way to lengthen your screen name to include your hardiness zone and state, which is a great help to everyone reading everyone else's questions and comments. Here is the how-to: Click on Your Houzz in upper right corner. Click on Edit Profile near the upper right corner. Click on Advanced Settings on the left-side menu. Grab the scroll bar and scroll it about 2/3rds of the way down, and you will see where you can enter “Climate Zone for Garden Forums. You can enter the geographical/zone information that you wish displayed. If you want to learn your zone, several methods are available, which will open up in a different browser tab, after which you can go back to the original browser tab and enter the information that you wish displayed. Scroll down and click on the green “Update” button.

I honestly can't figure out what is happening here the last 2 days. It's really hit or miss on both Houzz and GW. I've tried both on my Mac, my iPad and my Phone. I've even switched browsers - it's still random.
