Do you have a favorite kind of cheese?

Some people eat a lot of cheese. I don't particularly. Some home cooks like to put cheese on or in too many things they make. We don't tend to do that at all, aside from Italian-style dishes for which cheese is a typical component

For cheese to just eat, I prefer two:

-Camembert, discussed in another thread, and

-"Swiss" style cheese. Not of a generic kind or American made, but from the old country: Emmenthal or Gruyère.
