Yes--Michigan Brand. Used to eat a lot of it when I lived in Indiana. It tastes like homemade. Don't sell it here in Florida. I remember restaurants used to serve what they called a "diet platter" that had a hamburger patty, cottage cheese and fruit (like canned peaches or pears). I loved that. I also like it with strawberry preserves mixed in.

I like either Land O' Lakes or Dean's. I usually eat it plain, but sometimes put chives in it.

Breakstone, low fat, small curd with salt and lots of pepper or over fruit. I have it almost every morning.

I like the creamy curd, with sliced red grapes in it. Yummo!

Never noticed a difference in brands. Like it plain.

Years ago, DHs dad used to say small CRUD, we tried not to laugh, but it was cute!

Over the years the labels on Cottage Cheese have lost their meaning.

Used to be:

Small Curd --Small tight curds that would hold the shape of an ice cream scoop on the plate.

Medium Curd --- A little wetter but still didn't run all over the plate. held its shape and didn't run into other things on the plate.

Large Curd ---- Wet and creamy. Almost better in a bowl than on a pplate.

Now days good CC is really hard to find. Even Knudsen has changed. Surprisingly my Walmart had decent cottage cheese. Not perfect but at least the curds are small. It's more like what medium curd used to be.

I tried the Daisy one once and was appalled that the cottage cheese was not in actual curds but teeny tiny cubes. Had the texture of tofu. Yuck.

My husband likes the Giant Eagle brand the best. I tried Daisy thinking it would be the best but it's not. To me it kind of all tastes the same but I can't find a good large curd, they all seem like small curd to me even the ones listed as large curd. It's all kinda just like mush.

or spooned on a slice of home made whole wheat bread, sprinkled with garlic salt, pepper and paprika.

Breakstone, low fat, small curd with cantaloupe. I buy the small individual packs so they last longer and keep fresher.

Galliker's, a local dairy, curd doesn't matter to me but usually I get the small. Love it either with sweetner and cinnamon or lots of salt and pepper.

Anderson Erickson non-fat small curd. I eat it plain, just the cottage cheese.

I like Breakstone small curd. Sometimes I put it on a baked potato instead of butter or sour cream.

I buy low fat cottage cheese. Curd size not important.

My uses for cottage cheese;

1. Topping on mashed potatoes.

2. Topping on a bowl of fruit.

3. Good with any bean dish except green beans.

4. A side dish with dinner. Apply a liberal amount of freshly ground black pepper.

5. Use cottage cheese instead of cheese slices on pie.

Friendship whipped fatfree. But that's in NJ & now I'm Washington State & EVERYTHING is different!

Any curd. I like it with pineapple mixed in. Don't care for plain.

Any brand except "Daisy!" I'll eat it plain, or with fruit and veggies. Even cook with it.

I have a big tub of Dean's large curd in my refrigerator right now. I like it plain or with some kinds of fruit, in jello and with tomatoes. Sometimes I cook with it maybe in a pasta dish when I don't have ricotta or cream cheese.

I prefer large curd, but haven't been able to find it lately. I like to mix it with some toasted almonds, sunflower seeds and avocado chunks.

Meijer store brand, large curd. DH will eat any large curd, but I only like the Meijer brand. Darn, we were near a Meijer's today and didn't think of getting any. Closest is 2 hours south of us.

Believe it or not, I cannot get it past my nose. Cottage cheese and eggplant are the only two foods I really dislike.

Breakstone or Axelrod, large curd, 2%. Had it yesterday with cukes & tomatoes fresh from the garden and radishes. Yum....
