No snow here. It's so beautiful, but I am glad I don't have to deal with living in it. I'll just have to be contented with admiring from afar. Here's a mural I made with our playcampers back '09 - most of whom had never experienced real snow... Every year, we make loads of paper snowflakes out of coffee filters too.

@chartreuse scorpion, when we went to Ocracoke in 2011, the Outer Banks highway to Hatteras was still washed out from damage by hurricane Irene. The only access was by a 2 1/2 hour ferry from the mainland, so that’s how we got on the island. Very few tourists. It was really nice.
