I may not have known the difference, but I do know how to spell "Memorial". Why do people who make memes not spellcheck?

While drinking and driving are forbidden (in many areas) ... ... I'm not sure of this, not having been a smoker since for about 6 mos. or so at about age 16, I'm pretty sure that drinking while smoking that cigar is going to require a good deal of agility! Or having to deal with soiled clothing, furniture, etc. ole joyful

Olychick, yours reminds me of a recurring dream I’ve had for years. LOL, luckily the toilets I see are never useable for one reason or another.

@eld6161...YOU should start a thread about Thanksgiving stories. ie: I'm talking to my mom on the phone and she says, "Oh! Lucy! (her cat).....Oh...Lucy just walked all over the rolled out pie dough. Oh well...no one will know." I tell my husband, don't eat the pie. After dinner, we're asked if we want a slice of pie...."Oh no...we're just stuffed! Mom says, "Oh you've got to eat a piece, Cheryl brought the pies!" Oh...Ok....I'll take a piece. :0)

^^^LOL, salonva -- I had that hairdryer 60 years ago in my college years. Even traveled back and forth from college to home for vacations, via the airline (Ohio to Boston) as I ab-so-lutely HAD to have it for my otherwise unmanageable hair (mine was curly and frizzy in the era of long stick-straight coiffeurs for girls)... Oh, the suffering!

My Mom used to perm and set her hair all the time and so we had one of those. It had little vents where the air came in that you put your freshly polished nails in front of to dry them...and yes it was beige!

So funny re the hair dryer. I had one ( with the shower cap bonnet ) until about 6 years ago when we were downsizing. It still worked. I did use it once in a blue moon, but it had a very distinct plastic or electric odor when it was n.

Roxana, hair twins we are.

Annie- yes, it did have the 2 little vents that were supposed to dry your polish.

I was trying to remember what brand it was.. because that thing sure lasted.

I was going to say GE but I'm thinking maybe Sunbeam??
