Comments (8)I'm sure glad that this Canadian didn't write your sign, Oly! Hi Jeb ... are the long dogs at your house not quite all there ... or did your pen run out of ink? We used to have a long dog at our house. (While I must plead guilty to operating a cluttered house - no wife!) And - living in the countryside without a car so depending on hitchhiking to get to a village , where the bus runs morning and afternoons only (but don't try hitchhiking at night: better have cab fare in reserve) I'm on rather a short leash: any minor physical difficulty may very likely require moving to (an apartment?) in the city. Which I can afford, for 15 or 20 years or so - and, starting from the mid-90s, that seems like a fairly reasonable timeframe.timeframe. So - it looks like I have a substantial winter clutter-winnowing job ahead. What's that you say? That winter is getting close to half gone?! @Rusty - that pphphophonphone thing looks like a good idea! But - how to arrange for that friend to have the phone in hand at the time of the appropriate time's arrival/my departure? ole joyfuelled p.s. got tired of winnowing the editor's aadaddaddiadditadditadditoadditooadditoonadditoons when I tried to amend. o j...See MoreSmile today - 2/15/25
Comments (18)Good bunch to bring forth laughter, today. Annie - MAYbe you'll be able to get over the loss without too much dislocation? Do you often mirror your inspirations, Oly? How about frequent messages to your members of the various governments to let them know that you're watching them, and expecting them to be responsible citizens, salon? Michelle - aren't ya glad that yer cats aren't bookworms? No offence, jeb ... but how about suggesting that yer character build a higher fence? ...... Ain't that the truth, eld? katlan ... .. my house/barn/shed seem to be rather full of 'em! More winnowing required before I dare consider moving to an apt. In the city! @ded ... often true - in winter: but usually in summer they all don't hang long on the line. Thank you for your contributions. Hope each of you find something about which to be joyful every day - and offer such to the folks you meet: offer a smile to strangers. ole joyful...See MoreSmile today - 2/25/25
Comments (16)Lol… Well (as I commented on another thread that just got started), somewhere kicking around I have a charred bone…from the very first cat that I owned which didn’t quite get fully cremated when I did the cremation myself here on my property.🤪...See More- last month
