Stem Cell Saga Goes On
Comments (13)I was taking a training class during all of this for some new things on my job and broke out in itching 3 of the people I work with thought it was somthing I at 2 people I work most closely with asked "whats going on with EDD" I left the class went to the hospital only 5 blocks away and asked was it vancomycin and the nurse went into fits of laughter..."he said you would know wow thats amazing" yeah they just gave him benadryl and want to give him a mixture of vancomycin and benadryl later...I asked if the doctor was around "are you armed" she asked "no but there are plenty of things lying around that I can use on the clown"! when it comes down to it everyone gets somthing and we are both quite happy to be here. So many of our friends had their lives snuffed out early from drugs, alcohol, AIDS or war!...See MoreCan Seedlings Stay in 72 Cell Tray Till Transplant?
Comments (12)started mine last year early and they didn't start really growing till mid may and late may I put outside, and plants that survived 2 late frosts still did great. This year I start aboot the same time and almost all plants are doing really good, having to pot up now.... Hope I do this right as last year I lost 32+ plants... this year I have many more seeds that sprouted. And only one Naga has sprouted..... Oh well, one should be enough, and I shall work on a Purple Nagapeño!...See MoreMore Gift Ideas Needed: Gifts for Good Friends
Comments (33)We had the same problem for years. We have a group of seven couples (all close in age). We would take trips together once every year or so but during the year we would take turns hosting a monthly dinner. Of course this always necessitated a hostess gift. All of us are comfortably off and at our age have everything (material) that we want or need. It drove me crazy because I was constantly being gifted with craft type items. I am just not into cutesy things and I had a difficult time coming up with items that I thought the other ladies would enjoy or use. I failingly ended up giving food items or fresh flowers. We all finally came to a consensus that we should stop doing hostess gifts and at Christmas put funds together to donate to a charity. Thank goodness! The pressure every month is off and we can give to those in need. It's a win/win....See MoreIdeas for a fun way to send Gift Cards as a Housewarming Gift
Comments (19)Yah, I have given wallets that i filled with gift cards too-- not sure what i would use for a housewarming gift. I did find some inexpensive new home journals/maintenance record books.. most of the info I'd expect them to keep online/on the cloud.. but really, I am only looking for a vehicle for gift cars so it could work for the purpose. Same with a photo album-- they're all fully online/cloud. Will keep looking for popup cards and for books/photo albums. (along with baby gifts-- we'll soon have a virtual baby shower for nephew and his wife!) Thanks all!...See More
