How much could I sell this table for
Comments (5)It's really pretty and rather unusual. It looks to be hand carved, and I've seen similar detail on Asian and Eastern European pieces, IOW dramatic but not heavily refined. Rosewood is pretty easily identified by the aroma. I've a rosewood dry sink and love the smell of it, especially when I was sanding it when refinishing. Your's looks like it likely is. I have no clue as to origin, nor value. Did you shine up the upper knob? The lower one appears to still have patina....See MoreHow much chemicals does my pool really need?
Comments (3)Cindy, Spongeop is correct...it takes as much as it takes. You want your pool water to turn over (be run through the filter) at least once every 24 hours, sometimes more in the summer. You can definitely save some money using non-pool-store "chemicals" that are chemically equivalent to what the pool store sells you; sometimes they're even better because they don't have a lot of extra chemicals you don't need. I've linked PoolForum.com below as a great site with a wealth of info to help you out. Unfortunately, they're not accepting new registrations, so you can't post questions there. However, a number of knowledgeable posters on PoolForum also post on TroubleFreePool.com where they DO accept new registrations. All I know about pools came from this site and Pool Forum (TFP wasn't in existence when I started). Their advice really works!! Good luck. Comments (17)I had to sell a house in NJ with a pool that had not been opened in years. I contacted a pool demo company and got an estimate it was close to eleven thousand dollars. There are EPA, state and local laws about filling in a pool. Be sure to do your homework. The concrete fill had to be a certain size etc. Rebar needed to be recycled for a certain fee. Yikes. The prospective buyers had a pool inspector examine the pool. I gave that report to a pool repair company. They said the repairs could run near two thousand dollars. I gave my estimates to the buyer and I offered to take off eleven thousand from the asking price. The buyer accepted and I no longer had the worry of what else they would find underground. I did not have to worry about having a truck with tons of concrete driving near my house's foundation and potentially cracking it. The heavy equipment and dumpsters can crack driveways too....See MoreHow much are vintage ice cream parlor table and chairs worth?
Comments (2)I know, I agree with you completely! I haven’t been able find anything reasonable online though. Hoping someone can give me some insight into this or even why some of these are going for so much 😁...See MoreJAN MOYER
