I said on another post that i think Cloud White is highy underrated. I find it to be milky, but not creamy. More of a warmer white, not too stark, but not yellowish. They probably wiuld bith work with the colors you selected. I have cloud white with SW Contented and BM Carrington Beige and it works well with both. To my eye, white dove looks more creamy (yellow) in samples than it does in pics of people's cabinets. BM also lists them as coordinating colors. Your best bet is peobably to get large paped samples or sample pots of both to look at in the space once the floors are installed and cabinets are installed. Maybe one will jump out as the right one, but they will probably both work.

When we measure White Dove to capture its spectral data - think color DNA - and look for another color from Sherwin-Williams that has the most similar DNA, that color is Alabaster. That's why easyRGB says the closest Sherwin-Williams color is Alabaster and that is correct. However, crossing brands with colors of white doesn't always work out so well. It starts with each brand's base can of paint. They're all different colors of white to start with. Then there's the fact that each brand's colorants are unique to that brand. Some colors of white cross brands rather well, while with other colors of white, you need the original ingredients to make it. Won't know until you have the color mixed and can test and/or measure it with a Color Muse or other brand of colorimeter.

Is this an existing home with trim that is already painted White Dove? if so, I think the above posters may be suggesting that you pick out your cabinet color and repaint your trim to match your cabinet based on a color match to your cabinet. or if that is not an option..pick out a cabinet color with a lot of contrast to your WD trim, so it looks purposeful.

Redtea I sure hope I enjoy all these projects IF they ever get started! My kitchen cabinets have been partially emptied for months with boxes lining my dining room walls. Piles of kitchen stuff in my basement. I need to get rid of half of it. Me with a broken hand and shoulder that has healed (after I tripped on a crack and face planted while hustling down the sidewalk). But now I have a frozen shoulder that aches a lot. At least I’m very mobile, so there’s that. I’m grateful things aren’t worse. But it sure cramped my style big time. Yes I meant Ben Moore White Dove. It’s my cabinet guys favorite it seems, and doing research a lot of people like it. I bought samples but it’s hard to know really. He even bought me a piece of cabinet material in White Dove. My counters will be a quartzite-Calacatta extra suede it is called. Definitely a quartzite - Macaubus. And I love the slab but I’m nervous about it. Some say it’s great and some say it’s very thirsty. I’m counting on the fabricators to seal it really well. Wow sorry about your leak issue! That’s always a worry. I’ve had nightmares where water is flowing down the stairs😂 Hope that problem gets fixed-always something with houses. Those dang squirrels! We had a flying squirrel in our attic years ago and it was costly to get rid of it.
