Help identifying the rose variety.

This is not Distant Drums, is it? This rose plant came with the house. But it wasn’t really blooming last season. After a LOT of TLC she’s blooming again. Doesn’t have any fragrance. The buds are deep pink and the flowers turn completely light pink as they mature ( like in the second picture).

Distant Drums is definitely fragrant!

And I think the open Bloom is too pink.

My guess is still with Montezuma. Sun effects can account for the differences in your two photos. My Tropicana is way to orange for that - the petals don't ruffle, either. Fragrant Cloud ruffles a bit, but doesn't have that petal form. It also reflexes quite a bit with the lower petals and I don't see any of that tendency in the pic.

The size and form look a lot like one of the Peace roses to me - either the original or one of the variations like Chicago Peace or Enchanted Peace. Does the bush look like a Hybrid Tea?

That’s First Prize. Once in a while you get a beige center, but most often a huge multi-tone rose pink.
