Thanks all! That sure looks & sounds right. Anyone have experience in caring for this beautiful plant? I've been very successful with the usual pothos, but what I could find about Satin pothos sounds like it's a bit more fussy. It's in great shape now, but I just bought it a few days ago. I hit a few different stores, but I believe I bought this at Lowe's.

I agree with the "hybrid" comment since all most likely are so similar in the shape and other qualities of the blooms , though some may tend to produce larger or fuller blooms under ideal growth conditions or even leaves may vary quite a bit in size perhaps depending on hybrid variety , but other than that I guess the modern use of DNA analysis may be the only surefire way to determining varieties that have no tags. Still not available of course as over the counter , DIY test kits for home us lol. Meanwhile unfortunately , my very old potted specimen has finally succumbed to my bad habit of over watering I'd guess , since though they tend to love "even" moisture , they hate soggy soil, especially during cooler winter months even indoors.

Usually orchard fruit cultivars need to be identified by the aroma, coloring, consistency, flavor and shape of the ripe fruits. Also with many of them a good indication of ripeness is when numbers of fully formed fruits begin to drop from the tree. And with mangoes in particular I'd expect the dropped fruits to be generating an aroma or odor of ripeness.

my first thought is to wonder.. since youve only had it a month.. what happened to it before you got them??? .. we will never have that answer ... unless you have a seller that you can ask ... meaning other than bigbox ... then i wonder how cold it was in december.. when you carried it out of the store to your car etc ... was there a cold event.. minor.. in that we are just seeing the result now ... if it were me.l. i would water properly ... letting it near dry before watering again .. and see what the new growth looks like ... and if it comes out fine.. there is nothing currently to do ... its severely stressed.. its not hungry... fert is not a response ... and repotting will just stress it more ... so that is for spring if you wish .. water properly.. and ignore it for another month and lets see what happens... report back plz ... and.. btw.. even a damaged leaf can convert light into energy .. so no matter how ugly they get.. as long as there is some green leave them there.. and when they are all yellow.. lop them off ... ken ps: with that ceiling.. im wonder if this is a sun room.. and how cold it gets in there at night in winter??? ... it might not be too cold for your other plants ... but we dont know if this one came from a cozy greenhouse and the temps are a bit out of its comfort zone.. when you brought it home ...
