Comments (14)Sally, the banding looks interesting, although I do like contrast. I feel that area of the room is too light visually compared to the rest of the room where the furniture is, so I am looking I think to a deep color instead of a light one for the drapes. Donald, thanks for the tip, I will take a look at their website. justgotabme, thank you for the compliment. I agree with you I love the drapes caminnc posted! caminnc, where did you see those drapes! Love the fabric and the color seems to match bang on the color in the rug...love it, love it. ......See MoreDrapery panel patterns
Comments (2)I don't know of any patterns for drapes - since the tissue paper alone would be difficult to get into an envelope. However, there are probably directions on the Internet about how to measure for draperies, work with pleating (if that's the style you want) or casings, etc. Way back yonder, I used a book published by Singer, I believe. They had one "How to Sew Draperies", and another one, "How to Sew Curtains". I've included a link to Abebooks.com's listing for the one on draperies. Bear in mind that it was published back in the 70s, and you may find free instructions on the Internet.
