Exterior paint color help please!

We’re painting the stucco on our house this spring and I’d appreciate some input and ideas on what color to choose. We would also paint or strip and stain the wooden soffits and beams.
We’ve considered something as dark as Behr’s Cracked Pepper, would that be too dark?

Comments (4)I love a gray/ green on thiss tyle of house with the brick left as is. I would remove those overgrown hedges and new front door. IMO a walkway from the street always makes a home feel more welcoming than one from the driveway. That also gives you a more important entry so the new door would help. Could you take a pic of the entry straight on .As in the pic I sent the garage door is the same color as the house , if you wanted to add sone natural cedar to the mix and you need a new garage door you could do that in the natural cedar....See Moreexterior paint color help please!!!
Comments (14)If the wood is painted brown and not stained then I think a full paint job would look wonderful. It's a beautiful house. I agree with emmarene about not having the garage door as a focal point. If you can't afford a full paint job maybe just paint the forest green a darker version of the siding for some contrast and paint the garage as close to the siding color as possible. If you find you are able to fully paint the options are endless and depend on your preference. But here's an example with some updated lanscaping: I would definitely remove the junipers on the left hand side. They are a bit gnarly and overpowering. Maybe you can add some symmetry by having planters on the left and right of the driveway (see above image) with mirroring or similar plantings. Comments (9)Not sure I got the color right but here's a few attempts with SW Deft (first) and SW Stardew (second). I use the Sherwin-Williams ColorSnap Visualizer on their website. Benjamin Moore has a visualizer too that I think is easier to use but they don't seem to have as many colors. Just google Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore color visualizer and you'll find them. I do it on my laptop but there might be an app too. I didn't fool with the trim although the shutters painted. last monthlast modified: last monthI think the Behr's Black Pepper colour you're considering would be quite nice on your house... You seem to have a stained wood front door which works with the colour scheme and so would the soffits and beams (at least from looking at the picture you sent).

last monthLove the house I agree the dark would be great then landscaping to really work witht he home design. Do not paint the brick chimney . This is my fave for MCM landscaping and shows you the dark color with the style of entry door too.

I would paint the underside of the overhang a rich Ochre, similar to the color it looks now, in the photo.
